What is the best way to store my food?

The best way to keep food fresh is by storing it in an airtight container. Depending on what it is, I recommend you leave the food at room temperature or refrigerate it to prolong its lifespan. If you have a question pertaining to a specific delivery, you can always ask me or use google.

Do you offer gluten free items? How do you handle allergies?

Almost everything I offer can be made gluten free, however, I am not using a gluten free kitchen. if you have a severe allergy such as celiac disease, you may want to buy food from an industrial provider.

I have a party tomorrow. Can you make a rush order?

Due to school and extracurricular activities, the Simpl3 Sweets kitchen operates on irregular hours. Depending on the day, a rush order may be possible. The best way to ask for a rush order is to text ‪(817) 523-9623‬. Please leave a message detailing your requested order and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

How do I pay?

I accept cash or check. For larger orders, I will send you an invoice however there may be a slight delay due to price calculations. If needed, I am also able to receive payment through a third party Venmo account (my parents). If Venmo is your best option, please let me know in your order form.

Can you take custom orders?

Absolutely! Even if something is not on the menu, I would be more than happy to try my hand at baking it. When it comes to dietary needs or preferences, I can handle anything including but not limited to gluten free, nut free, and vegan as long as you specify what you can and cannot have.

How far in advance do I need to order?

I'd prefer about two week's notice for most orders. For batch of cookies or muffins, about a week is probably enough time. For something like a cake, I may need a month's notice. During the summer and on breaks I tend to have more time. I will likely post on social media or update this site in some way to notify you that I can handle a higher order turnover rate.

Do you deliver?

Because I don't have a storefront, delivery is currently my main method of getting orders to customers. If you live near Clemmons, I will deliver to you. If you live further away, I might meet you halfway. If you live out of state, I'm sorry but due to logistics I'd advise you to find another bakery (unless you happen to be visiting).

What is a Cottage Food Business?

A Cottage Business is a small for-profit organization that operates out of a home. Cottage Food Business exist so that people can create a business without the need to own a commercial kitchen. Because Cottage Food Businesses are home operated, everything we sell must be a time and temperature controlled for safety (or TCS) food. In addition, kitchens have to pass inspection.
